Most people choose to use the drop in sear burner in the far left position. To install, remove the grate and briquette tray. The great part of Summerset Grills is the versatility burner interchangeability.
The burner is secured in the back below with a cotter pin, which will need to be removed with a pair of pliers or needle-nose pliers in order to remove the burner.
Once the cotter pin is removed, remove the burner by the back end and rotate the burner out. Place the sear burner in the same manner as the main burner was removed. Carefully and safely position burner in the front orifice hole in the center of the burner area and that it is seated in its guide pin or pins. Replace the grate only as the briquette tray is not needed for this setup. Light as normal.
